🛠️ Freelance Developer — Automation & AI Integrations for Accounting Firms We're Omnyr AI, a US-based automation company specializing in workflow automation for CPA firms and accounting practices. We're looking for a freelance developer to join us on an ongoing basis. What you'll be building: QuickBooks Online API integrations — data extraction, categorization, and automated transfer to tax software (Drake, UltraTax, ProSeries) Document chasing workflows — automated follow-up sequences triggered by case status Document scanning and OCR — automatic extraction and classification of tax documents (W-2, 1099, K-1, bank statements) Intelligent document splitting — auto-detection and separation of multi-document uploads by type and client E-signature automation — trigger and follow-up workflows via DocuSign or Adobe Sign Practice management integrations — TaxDome, Karbon, Canopy APIs AI-assisted categorization — connecting Claude or GPT APIs for transaction classification with confidence scoring and human review queues n8n workflow builds — connecting all of the above into automated pipelines What we're looking for: Strong experience with REST APIs and webhook-based architectures Experience with n8n, Make, or similar automation tools Comfortable working with AI APIs (Claude, OpenAI) Experience with OCR tools (AWS Textract, Google Document AI, or similar) Clean, documented code — our clients own everything we build Reliable, async communication — we work remotely across time zones Bonus: experience with accounting software or fintech What we offer: Ongoing project-based work — this is not a one-off Flexible hours and fully remote Clear briefs and direct communication Competitive freelance rates
