Technical Support Developer

We are looking to bring on a dedicated Technical Support Developer to own the day-to-day health, stability, and administration of our existing tools, automations, and accounts. ROLE OVERVIEW This is a hands-on role focused on keeping existing systems running smoothly, not building new ones. You will monitor live automations, investigate and resolve issues, maintain and update existing code, and manage the firm’s platforms and user accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitoring & incident response Monitor live systems and automations across Google Cloud, n8n, and Zapier on an ongoing basis Investigate, diagnose, and resolve errors and failures quickly and proactively Maintain and improve error alerting and logging so issues are caught before users report them Code & automation maintenance Maintain and update existing codebases deployed to Google Cloud Submit changes as GitHub pull requests for review Manage and update automation workflows in n8n and Zapier Assist with minor enhancements and bug fixes to existing tools Platform & user administration Manage Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and 1Password, including user accounts and permissions Configure and maintain the firm’s business platforms Support Provide technical support and escalate complex issues where errors are reported by users REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proficiency in Node.js Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Cloud SQL, or Firestore) Experience with automation platforms — n8n and/or Zapier Comfortable with GitHub for pull requests Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and basic authentication flows Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across distributed systems Ability to read, understand, and maintain existing codebases written by others Strong written communication skills in English NICE TO HAVE Experience with Document AI or Google ML tools Experience with browser automation, Chrome extensions, or Apps Script add-ons Experience working in a legal, healthcare, or other regulated industry environment Previous experience in a support or maintenance-focused developer role WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PERSON You are someone who takes pride in systems running smoothly and quietly.
