U.S. AWS and laravel Developer with US passport and background check wanted

Laravel Developer — Remote (US-Based) About the Role We're a small company looking for a skilled Laravel developer with AWS experience. There is a legal requirement which only allows us to hire a laravel developer with the USA - so you must be, live, and work within the USA while working on this project. You must show proof of passport and pass a background check. The main project right now is migrating an existing Laravel application to AWS, as well as managing deployments. Our work supports clients in the defense/military space, so this is stable, mission-driven work with a long-term outlook. This is a fully remote position. We care more about finding the right person for a steady, long-term relationship than about filling a seat quickly. What You'll Do Maintain, support, and improve an existing Laravel application Plan and execute the migration of the application to AWS Handle deployment, infrastructure, and DevOps tasks Troubleshoot issues and keep the application stable and secure Communicate clearly and work independently in a remote setting What We're Looking For Strong, demonstrable experience with Laravel and PHP Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, and related services) DevOps experience, including deployments, CI/CD, and infrastructure management Ability to work independently and manage your own time Clear written communication Requirements Must be a US citizen and physically located in the United States (required for compliance reasons) The Details This is a remote, hourly contract role. We're a small operation and honest about our budget — the rate is in the range of $30–35/hr.
