Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: Remote Job Overview We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer / Website Administrator to develop, maintain, and optimize our WordPress websites and hosting infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of WordPress, PHP, databases, and server administration. This role will focus on ensuring website security, stability, performance, and uptime while handling technical troubleshooting and ongoing website maintenance. Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain WordPress websites. Manage website databases, including backups, optimization, and troubleshooting. Perform server maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot website errors, technical issues, and security vulnerabilities. Install, configure, and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, and updates. Ensure website security, stability, and uptime. Perform regular website backups and implement recovery procedures. Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance. Monitor website health and proactively identify potential technical issues. Manage website migrations, hosting configurations, and deployment when necessary. Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience in WordPress development and website maintenance. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. Knowledge of web hosting, server administration, DNS, SSL, and website deployment. Familiarity with website security, backups, and performance optimization. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Linux server administration. Familiarity with cPanel, VPS, cloud hosting, and server monitoring tools. Knowledge of website migrations, API integrations, and third-party plugins. Experience managing multiple WordPress websites.
