Web / Full-Stack Application Developer Position: Senior Full-Stack Web & App Developer Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: Remote About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Web & Application Developer to build a sophisticated, scalable application from concept through development and deployment. The ideal candidate should be more than someone who can build basic websites. They must have experience creating complex web applications and/or mobile applications with multiple user types, interactive features, real-time communication, notifications, search, user accounts, and marketplace-style functionality. The application will combine concepts similar to Zillow and a service marketplace platform, where customers can submit requests and qualified service providers can receive those requests, communicate with customers, and submit bids or estimates through the platform. Key Responsibilities Design and develop a sophisticated web application from the ground up. Build both front-end and back-end systems. Create a clean, modern, highly functional user interface. Develop separate experiences for different types of users, such as: Customers/clients Service providers Administrators Build a system where customers can: Select a service/category Submit a job/request Enter details about the job Upload photos or other information Receive responses and estimates Communicate with service providers Build a provider-side system where registered providers can: Receive relevant job notifications Review customer requests Ask questions Submit bids/pricing Manage their jobs and customers Develop an intelligent matching/notification system that connects customer requests with relevant providers. Implement secure user accounts, profiles, permissions, and authentication. Develop messaging/communication functionality within the application. Build administrative dashboards for managing users, requests, providers, and activity. Ensure the application is scalable and performs well as the number of users increases. Integrate third-party APIs and services when necessary. Develop responsive functionality for desktop and mobile users. Test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the application. Required Experience The candidate should have demonstrated experience building sophisticated applications, not just basic websites. Strong candidates should have experience with: Full-stack web development Modern frontend frameworks Backend/API development Database architecture User authentication and authorization Real-time messaging/notifications Marketplace or two-sided platforms Bidding/quotation systems Search and filtering File/image uploads Mobile-responsive applications Third-party API integrations Cloud deployment and scalable architecture UI/UX implementation Most Important Requirement A strong portfolio is mandatory.
