Expert WordPress Developer for Ongoing Site Management & Optimization

I’m looking to hire an expert WordPress developer for ongoing website management, optimization, and technical support. This is not a role for someone who mainly installs plugins or makes basic Elementor edits. I’m looking for someone with a strong software engineering background who deeply understands WordPress at the code, database, server, and performance levels. The right person should be able to diagnose problems when something breaks, understand why it happened, and fix the underlying issue rather than relying on trial-and-error plugin changes. Required experience: * Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MySQL skills * Deep understanding of WordPress core architecture, themes, plugins, hooks, filters, and custom functions * Experience troubleshooting plugin conflicts, front-end breakage, server errors, caching problems, and performance issues * Strong understanding of Elementor, but not limited to superficial Elementor editing * Experience with Git, WP-CLI, staging environments, backups, rollbacks, and clean deployment workflows * Understanding of Cloudways, Varnish, Cloudflare/CDN, object caching, browser caching, and cache purging * Ability to debug Core Web Vitals, asset loading, render-blocking files, JavaScript errors, and CSS conflicts * Strong security awareness, including plugin risk, permissions, updates, and hardening A computer science, software engineering, or similar technical background is strongly preferred. A career focused primarily on WordPress development and long-term WordPress site management is required. This is an ongoing role.
