# Python AI Developer Needed to Build Whatnot Live Sales Tracker ## Overview We are looking for a Python developer with experience in OCR, AI automation, and dashboard development to build a custom application for our live selling business. We sell products on Whatnot and want a system that can watch our screen during a live show and automatically record what items sold and for how much. ## Project Goal Create a desktop application that monitors the Whatnot screen in real time and captures: * Item number * Item description * Buyer username * Final sale price * Time sold * Show name The system should save the information into a database or Google Sheets and display a live dashboard during the show. ## Desired Features ### Phase 1 Monitor the Whatnot screen and detect: * Item number * Sold price * Buyer name Export information into Google Sheets. ### Phase 2 Connect to an inventory database containing: * SKU * Description * Purchase cost * Brand * Category Automatically calculate: * Revenue * Cost of goods sold * Profit per item * Average sale price ### Phase 3 Create a live dashboard showing: * Total revenue * Number of items sold * Average sale price * Gross profit * Top buyers * Best categories ### Phase 4 Generate reports after each show. ## Technical Skills Preferred Python OpenCV OCR Tesseract Screenpipe Google Sheets API SQLite or PostgreSQL Streamlit ChatGPT API or Claude API Experience with AI automation and computer vision is highly preferred. ## Deliverables * Working desktop application * Source code * Installation instructions * Documentation * Ability to expand features in the future ## Budget Open to fixed price or hourly. ## Bonus Experience with: * Whatnot * eBay * Shopify * Poshmark * Inventory systems * Reseller software ## About Us We are a growing live-selling business operating multiple weekly shows across Whatnot, Shopify, eBay, and Poshmark.
