AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer for Ecommerce + NetSuite Integration

We are looking for an AI-native full-stack engineer to help modernize and rebuild a large ecommerce operations stack for HealthyPets / EntirelyPets. This is not a small website project. We operate multiple ecommerce brands and need help building internal systems around orders, inventory, warehouse workflows, NetSuite, BigCommerce, Turbify/Yahoo Commerce, AutoShip/subscriptions, accounting, and fulfillment. The goal is to build reliable internal tools and integrations that help our team manage orders, inventory, warehouse scanning, customer/order data, and sync workflows across multiple systems. Important: we are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable using modern AI coding tools. We do not expect huge codebases to be typed manually line by line. We expect you to use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Fable, or similar agentic coding tools to move quickly, while still reviewing, testing, debugging, and owning the final code. You may work on: - Ecommerce/API integrations - NetSuite-related sync workflows - BigCommerce and Turbify/Yahoo Commerce order flows - Internal admin dashboards - Inventory and warehouse scanning tools - Duplicate prevention, audit logs, reconciliation tools, and safe data syncs - Backend scripts, database work, testing, and deployment workflows Requirements: - Computer Science degree OR 3+ years of software development experience - Strong personal/project portfolio is acceptable even without formal job experience - Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, APIs, SQL/Postgres, and Git skills - Comfortable working with AI coding agents and reviewing AI-generated code - Able to communicate clearly in written English - Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn ecommerce/ERP/warehouse systems Nice to have: - NetSuite, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, or ERP integration experience - BigCommerce, Turbify/Yahoo Commerce, Amazon/eBay APIs, WMS, barcode scanning, or subscription/autoship experience - Playwright, Vitest, Vercel, Postgres, API/webhook architecture - Experience building internal tools or operations dashboards Budget / compensation: The starting rate is $10/hr during trial/onboarding. If performance is strong, this can move quickly to $15/hr, with potential to reach $20/hr+ within 2-3 months for the right person.
