AI Agent Platform Consultant / Full-Stack SaaS Architect — TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, AWS, Terraform Job Description We are building an AI Agent Platform for SaaS companies and need an experienced technical consultant/architect to help us design the platform correctly from the beginning. The platform will include modules such as: Multi-tenancy / organization management Authentication and authorization Agent management Workflow and orchestration engine Tool/function calling system Agent memory and context management Tracing, logging, observability, and evaluation SaaS billing and subscription structure AWS deployment using Terraform Scalable backend architecture with TypeScript/Node.js The goal is not only to build a simple chatbot, but to design a real production-ready AI agent platform with clean architecture, modular backend design, scalable infrastructure, and strong observability. Tech Stack Frontend: TypeScript React Next.js Tailwind CSS / shadcn/ui preferred Backend: Node.js TypeScript REST or tRPC PostgreSQL Redis / queue system Modular backend architecture Infrastructure: AWS Terraform Docker CI/CD CloudWatch or similar observability tools AI / Agent Platform: OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini APIs Agent orchestration Function calling / tool calling Workflow execution Tracing and monitoring RAG / vector database knowledge is a plus What We Need We are looking for someone who can help with: Reviewing the product idea and technical architecture Designing the core platform modules Creating a scalable backend structure Defining database entities and relationships Designing the agent workflow/orchestration layer Planning multi-tenancy, auth, roles, and permissions Designing tracing, logging, and observability for agents Recommending the best AWS infrastructure setup Helping us decide MVP scope vs future modules Creating a technical roadmap for implementation Expected Deliverables The consultant should provide: High-level system architecture Recommended module structure Database/domain model suggestions API design recommendations Agent workflow/orchestration design AWS + Terraform deployment plan MVP implementation roadmap Risks, tradeoffs, and best-practice recommendations Bonus if you can also provide diagrams, example folder structure, or sample TypeScript pseudocode. Ideal Candidate You should have experience with: Building SaaS platforms TypeScript full-stack development Next.js and Node.js backend systems AWS infrastructure Terraform Multi-tenant applications Authentication and authorization systems AI agents, LLM applications, or workflow automation systems Production-grade observability, logging, and tracing Experience with DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS, event-driven systems, or workflow engines is a strong plus. Project Type This is initially a consultation and architecture planning project, but it may turn into a longer-term development role if the collaboration works well. Budget Open to fixed-price or hourly proposals.
