I am looking for a Data Engineer (GCP) - Google Cloud Summary: I am looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data infrastructure using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable data processing, efficient storage, and seamless data management to support our clients’ business and analytics needs. Requirements: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data. • Design a dashboard which will showcase all the data and analytics for stakeholder to look at for performance. • Collaborate with analysts, and key stakeholders to understand data requirements, design data models, and ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity. • Monitor, tune, and optimize data infrastructure performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. • Create and maintain clear documentation for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure in line with established standards and best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, storage, and data management. • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging GCP data technologies to continuously enhance technical expertise and delivery quality. Required Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data processing, storage, integration, and management. • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java. • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL workflows, data quality, and data integrity principles. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design effective solutions for complex data challenges. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with additional GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Dataproc, and Data Fusion will be considered an advantage. • Google Cloud certification, such as Professional Data Engineer, is highly preferred.
