About Simplview Simplview is a fast-growing Canadian AI startup incubated by the Government of Ontario (Brampton Next). We have two active enterprise clients and are building the next generation of Mobile-Native Conversational Analytics. Our platform empowers business leaders and owners to "talk to their data" using advanced Large Language Models (Gemini/GPT) and dynamic visualizations just as easily as they would text a colleague. We are moving fast, and we are looking for sharp engineering talent to scale our product. The Opportunity (Perfect for Moonlighters) Are you a talented Software Engineer with a solid full-time gig but looking for a stable, high-paying, and technically exciting side project? This role is built for you. We are expanding our engineering team and need a mid-level Full Stack Developer who can work independently and asynchronously. You will report directly to our CTO (Gaurang Singhal). Because we operate across Canadian and Indian time zones, your work will be highly asynchronous—meaning you can log your hours whenever it fits your schedule (evenings, weekends), as long as your milestones are hit. What You Will Do: Build Conversational UIs: Enhance our chat interface using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Data & AI Integration: Write clean code to interface with the Google Gemini API, structuring complex, unstructured data into instant, logical business insights. Data Visualization: Build dynamic dashboards using Recharts that adapt in real time based on the AI's data responses. Ship Production-Ready Code: Take ambiguous feature concepts, map out the architecture, and ship clean Pull Requests (PRs) without needing hand-holding or micro-management. Our Tech Stack: Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Recharts Backend/Data: Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL/SQL AI: Google Gemini API, OpenAI API Requirements: Experience: 3+ years of professional, production-level experience as a Full Stack Developer (SaaS product experience is highly preferred). Education: A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, ideally from a top-tier institution (IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS, or equivalent). Autonomy: You are past the point of needing mentorship. You can look at a problem, find the solution independently, and write optimized code. Commitment: Ability to reliably dedicate 15 to 20 hours per week to Simplview. Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, as most of our project coordination happens asynchronously via Google Workspace. Why Join Us?
