The role involves presenting automation workflows to stakeholders, gathering technical requirements, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration. The ideal candidate will manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters, develop custom automation scripts, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions. What You’ll Do: Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack. Automate provisioning and operations using Terraform and Ansible. Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for efficient deployments. Deploy and scale containerized applications across Kubernetes environments. Collaborate on Git workflows and enforce DevOps best practices. Implement security and compliance across infrastructure. Participate in Agile processes, including planning and stand-ups. What You’ll Need: 4+ years of experience in Automation engineering or a related field. Cloud & Container Platforms: Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and major cloud providers (Oracle OCI, AWS, Azure). Infrastructure Automation (IaC): Proficient with Terraform and Ansible (including Jinja2 templating). CI/CD & GitOps: Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI/CD, Argo Workflows, and ArgoCD. Kubernetes & Operators: Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, CRDs, controllers, and the Operator SDK (Go, Helm, Ansible). Experience building/deploying Operators and proficiency in OpenShift internals (OLM, SCCs, Routes, Cluster Operators). Familiarity with OCM/ACM, Kubernetes APIs, and policy-based governance tools like Kyverno or OPA. Scripting & Programming: Proficient in Bash, Python, and Go. Architecture & Observability: Understanding of microservices, declarative infrastructure, and monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, ELK/EFK, Loki)
