The application will allow the user to enter project information for the cover sheet and select equipment PDFs for inclusion in the final submittal package. The equipment categories shall be hard-coded into the tool in the following order: FIRE SPRINKLERS VALVES FIRE SPRINKLER PIPE FITTINGS HANGER MATERIALS MISCELLANEOUS The PDF files within each category folder shall be automatically scanned and populated for user selection, so the PDF list does not need to be manually maintained. The tool shall generate: A cover sheet based on user-entered project information, including: PROJECT NAME PROJECT ADDRESS JOB NUMBER FIRE PROTECTION COMPANY NAME FIRE PROTECTION COMPANY ADDRESS FIRE PROTECTION COMPANY PHONE NUMBER LICENSE NUMBER FIRE PROTECTION COMPANY WEBSITE Separator pages for the selected equipment categories. A final merged PDF package containing the cover sheet, separator pages, and selected equipment PDFs in the proper order. The final output shall be a professional fire sprinkler equipment submittal PDF suitable for review and submission. Deliverables shall include the Python application, setup instructions, and a user guide.
