AI and Gmail Integration Expert - Long-term contract/ AI projects

Preferred: Mexico/LATAM and Spanish speaker (Negotiable) We are seeking a skilled freelancer to integrate AI solutions with Gmail and collaborate on automation and AI projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in AI and Gmail and Google Suite integration, and be able to work closely with our team to enhance our automation processes. This role requires a strong understanding of AI technologies and the ability to implement innovative solutions. Quick view of a high level work we need to be automated via AI in Gmail: We run a customs brokerage operation. We have a backup Gmail inbox that receives all operational emails and follow-ups from clients - currently over 2 million emails and growing daily. I need a developer to build a pipeline that reads this inbox (via Gmail API), extracts and classifies data from each email thread (including PDF/document attachments), and produces structured analytics — with the ability to run continuously on new incoming mail going forward. For each operation/email thread, extract: Timestamp of when the client sends the initial operation request Type of the pediment / type of operation - read from the email body and/or attached PDF documents Number of interactions/touches in the thread until documents are dispatched Time to resolution - how long it takes from request to dispatch (per operation, per client) Client identification - group/count by client Ideally flag: cases with excessive back-and-forth (rework/repeated requests), delays, and any patterns by time of day/peak hours
