Business developer and proposal writer

Gratitude Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to identify, evaluate, and respond to new business opportunities across government and commercial sectors. This role is responsible for owning and actively monitoring bid portals and procurement platforms for relevant RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, assessing alignment with company capabilities, and driving the end-to-end proposal development process. The ideal candidate will craft clear, compelling, and compliant submissions that effectively communicate our expertise across low-voltage systems, IT, and emerging technologies. The applicant needs to have worked in the tech/IT industry and should have a good understanding of the terms/language used in the industry. In addition to proposal development, the Proposal Writer will support business development efforts by researching target clients, initiating outreach through professional touchpoint emails, and maintaining a structured pipeline of opportunities. The candidate will track leads, follow up consistently, and help position Gratitude Systems for future work. This role requires strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with internal stakeholders. Availability during standard Eastern Time (EST) business hours is required to ensure alignment and timely execution.
