Full-Stack Developer — AI-Powered Construction Fintech Platform (Founder-Led Startup)

Capacity Gardens is an infrastructure-fintech startup helping small and mid-sized contractors get bonded and capitalized to compete for federal construction, disaster recovery, and public works contracts. We're past prototype and ready to build toward a production-grade platform. What exists today: Six role-based consoles: Owner/Agency, Prime Contractor, Protected Class/Subcontractor, Vendors & Suppliers, Investors/Capital, and Compliance/Security/System Management A scoring-based matching engine (100-point model across trade/CSI code, certifications, capacity, location, compliance, experience, and capital alignment) AI-driven interpretation of plans/specs into a Schedule of Values Built on Netlify with a managed database and serverless backend — no blockchain, no distributed ledger What we need: A developer/engineer who can take this from AI-assisted prototype to a hardened, production-ready platform capable of meeting federal-agency-level security and compliance expectations (think SOC 2 / audit-log rigor, not just a working demo). You'll own the technical build as we scale — this is a long-term relationship, not a one-off task. Ideal background: Strong full-stack experience (React/JS front end, serverless/managed backend architecture) Comfortable working from AI-generated scaffolding and hardening it into real production code Experience with fintech, gov-contracting, or construction-tech platforms is a strong plus Security/compliance-minded — SOC 2, audit trails, role-based access control How we work: Founder-led, fast-moving, and detail-oriented. Clear async communication and reliable responsiveness are non-negotiable — this is a startup, not a ticket queue. We'll likely start with a paid trial task/scope of work before committing to an ongoing engagement.
