## Overview Style Route is a kids' fashion D2C brand. We need a full-stack developer to take our storefront from its current state to a production-ready, modern e-commerce site. The frontend/design direction is already built — this is about wiring up real functionality: authentication, payments, an admin panel, and a small AI-assisted shopping feature. This is not a from-scratch design project. Brand identity, page layouts, and the product catalog UI already exist. We need someone who can extend and finish it to production quality. ## Scope **Storefront** - Product listing pages with filters (category, price, size) and sort - Product detail pages with size selection and image gallery - Cart + wishlist with persistence across sessions - Fully responsive (mobile, tablet, desktop) **Authentication** - Email/password signup + login, with session handling - Google sign-in - Basic account page (order history placeholder is fine for v1) **Payments** - Razorpay integration — online payment + Cash on Delivery - Order confirmation flow **Admin dashboard** - Role-based access (owner vs. staff) - Add/edit/remove products, update stock and pricing - View incoming orders **AI product assistant** - A simple natural-language product search — e.g. a parent types "something warm for a 4-year-old boy" and gets relevant product matches — using the OpenAI API against our product catalog ## Suggested tech stack - Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS - PostgreSQL + Prisma - NextAuth or Supabase Auth for authentication - Razorpay API for payments - OpenAI API for the product assistant We're open to a different stack if you have a strong reason, but the above is what the existing codebase already uses. ## Milestones — ₹40,000 total **Milestone 1 — Storefront completion — ₹15,000** Product listing pages (filters + sort), product detail pages, cart and wishlist with persistence, fully responsive across devices. **Milestone 2 — Auth & Admin dashboard — ₹15,000** Email/password + Google auth, session handling, role-based admin panel for product and order management. **Milestone 3 — Payments & AI assistant — ₹10,000** Razorpay integration (online + COD), order confirmation flow, OpenAI-powered natural-language product search.
