Node.js Backend Developer Needed for API Integration & Backend Fix

We’re looking for an experienced Node.js Backend Developer to help with a small task in an existing web application. The backend is already built with Node.js / Express.js, but we need help integrating a third-party REST API and fixing a few issues with the current data processing flow. The task includes: Review the existing Node.js backend Integrate one external REST API Update the data processing logic Add proper error handling and validation Fix a few existing API response issues Test the updated endpoints Keep the existing architecture and code structure clean Required skills: Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST API, MongoDB or PostgreSQL, Git. This is a relatively small and clearly scoped task. We’re looking for someone comfortable working with an existing codebase who can quickly understand the backend logic and implement the required changes without unnecessary rebuilding. Budget: $310 fixed price
