Part Time Software Engineer

Location: remote Type: part time About Us We're an early-stage AI startup building software. Our platform is only as powerful as the tools it plugs into — which is where you come in. You'll build the integrations that let our AI actually take action across the apps our users live in every day. About the Role We're looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain integrations between our AI platform and a wide range of third-party tools. You'll own the connective tissue — from OAuth handshake to production monitoring — that lets data and workflows flow across communication, scheduling, storage, and productivity apps. This is a high-ownership role at a fast-moving startup where what you ship reaches users quickly. What You'll Do * Build and maintain integrations across the platforms below, handling OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and API rate limits * Design resilient, event-driven pipelines that stay reliable when third-party APIs change or degrade * Normalize data across services with different schemas and auth models so our AI can act on it * Write clean, tested, well-documented code and own integrations end to end * Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and performance of existing connectors * Work closely with a small team where your input shapes the product Integrations You'll Work With * Google Workspace: Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Chat * Microsoft: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 / Graph API * Messaging: Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord * Scheduling & Meetings: Calendly, Zoom * Project Management: ClickUp What We're Looking For * Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in [your stack — e.g. Node.js / Python / Go] * Hands-on experience integrating third-party REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks * Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Graph APIs is a strong plus * Experience with event-driven architectures, queues, and handling API rate limits and retries * Comfort reading imperfect API docs and debugging live integrations * A startup mindset: scrappy, fast, and comfortable with ambiguity Nice to Have * Experience building bots or apps for Slack, Discord, Telegram, or Teams * Background in data sync, ETL, or workflow automation * Interest in AI/LLMs and building agentic, action-taking systems What We Offer * Part time hours ($20/hour) * Remote flexibility, real ownership, and a direct line to impact How to Apply Upload a 30 second loom video discussing how you can add value to an AI startup Viperware LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
