# PHP Developer Needed to Complete & Launch Coupon/Affiliate Website – Coupons CMS 7 Full
## Project Overview
I am looking for an experienced PHP/MySQL developer to fully complete and launch an existing coupon and affiliate marketing website:
**Website:** clipitfree.com
The website is already installed and is based on the **Coupons CMS 7 Full** script purchased from CodeCanyon.
This is **not a website development project from scratch**.
The objective is to take the existing website and deliver it as a completely configured, functional, secure, optimized, production-ready coupon and affiliate website.
I want the entire project completed as **one turnkey project**, including integrations, configuration, testing, bug fixing, optimization, deployment, and handover.
I do not want to divide the project between multiple developers.
---
# Main Responsibilities
The selected developer will be responsible for reviewing the existing installation and completing everything required to make ClipItFree ready for public launch.
## 1. Existing Website Audit
Review the current website, source code, database, hosting environment, CMS installation, theme, plugins, and configuration.
Identify:
* PHP compatibility problems
* MySQL/database problems
* Deprecated PHP code
* JavaScript errors
* CSS/layout problems
* Broken functions
* Broken links
* Security issues
* Performance issues
* Incorrect CMS configuration
* Missing dependencies
* Problems with existing plugins
* Problems with affiliate integrations
Create a full backup before making major changes.
---
# 2. PHP and Technical Fixes
Fix all PHP errors, warnings, notices, deprecated functions, and compatibility problems.
There is currently, for example, a PHP warning similar to:
`"continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"?`
The final production website must operate without visible PHP errors or warnings.
The developer must also fix:
* JavaScript errors
* jQuery problems
* AJAX problems
* Database errors
* Broken forms
* Broken CMS functionality
* Browser console errors that affect functionality
* Any other technical problems discovered during testing
The developer should use the newest stable PHP version that is reasonably compatible with the CMS without breaking functionality.
---
# 3. CMS Configuration
Fully configure Coupons CMS 7 Full.
This includes, where applicable:
* Stores
* Categories
* Coupons
* Deals
* Products
* Search
* User accounts
* User registration/login
* Coupon voting
* Coupon verification
* Expiration dates
* Featured offers
* Popular offers
* Store pages
* Category pages
* Product pages
* Coupon pages
* Pagination
* Search filters
* Newsletter features
* Contact forms
* Administrative functions
Remove all demonstration/default content.
No placeholders such as "Example Category" should remain on the production website.
---
# 4. Website Design and Theme Configuration
Configure and improve the existing theme so ClipItFree looks like a professional international coupon/deals website.
Required work includes:
* Homepage layout
* Header
* Footer
* Navigation
* Store pages
* Category pages
* Coupon/deal cards
* Product pages
* Search pages
* Mobile menu
* Responsive layout
* Typography
* Buttons
* Forms
* Logo placement
* Favicon
* Consistent visual styling
The site must work correctly on:
* Desktop
* Laptop
* Tablet
* Mobile
Major modern browsers should be tested.
The objective is not a completely custom redesign unless necessary, but the final website should look professional and ready for commercial use.
---
# 5. Affiliate Network Integrations
This is an important part of the project.
The developer must configure, repair, update, or customize the required affiliate-network integrations so that offers can be imported and affiliate links can be generated correctly.
The required integrations include, where supported/available:
### CJ Affiliate
Configure CJ integration for:
* Advertisers
* Stores
* Coupons
* Deals
* Products
* Affiliate tracking links
* Automated import/update where technically supported
If the existing Coupons CMS CJ plugin uses an outdated API, the developer must update or modify the integration as required to work with the current CJ API.
### Rakuten Advertising
Configure the available Rakuten integration or implement/update it as required.
### Admitad
Configure the available Admitad integration or implement/update it as required.
### TradeDoubler
Configure the available TradeDoubler integration or implement/update it as required.
### Other Existing CMS Affiliate Integrations
Review all affiliate network plugins/modules included with Coupons CMS 7 Full.
Any useful integrations that can reasonably be activated should be configured.
The developer should clearly document which affiliate networks are operational at completion.
I will provide required production API credentials/tokens/account information for approved affiliate accounts.
The project will not be considered complete merely because an integration plugin has been installed. Imports, links, tracking parameters, duplicate handling, and updates must be tested.
---
# 6. Automated Coupon/Product Import
Where supported by the affiliate networks/APIs, configure automated imports.
The system should correctly handle:
* New coupons
* Updated coupons
* Expired coupons
* Stores
* Advertisers
* Products
* Product images
* Affiliate URLs
* Coupon codes
* Coupon descriptions
* Categories
* Expiration dates
The system should avoid unnecessary duplicate stores, products, or coupons.
Scheduled/cron imports should be configured where appropriate.
---
# 7. Affiliate Link Testing
Affiliate links must be tested before project completion.
The developer must verify:
* Correct affiliate tracking parameters
* Correct advertiser destinations
* Redirect functionality
* Coupon links
* Product links
* Store links
* No accidental removal of affiliate parameters
Where the affiliate network provides reporting/test functionality, it should be used when possible.
---
# 8. SEO Setup
Configure the website for good technical SEO.
Required work includes:
* SEO-friendly URLs
* Page titles
* Meta descriptions
* Canonical URLs
* XML sitemap
* robots.txt
* Open Graph metadata
* Appropriate structured data/schema where possible
* Proper heading structure
* Image alt attributes
* Internal linking
* Store/category/coupon indexing configuration
* Duplicate-content controls
* 404 handling
* Redirects where necessary
Check that unnecessary pages are not indexed.
---
# 9. Google Integrations
Configure the website for:
* Google Analytics 4
* Google Search Console
* Google Tag Manager if appropriate
Tracking should be tested.
I will provide the required Google account IDs/access where necessary.
---
# 10. Performance Optimization
Optimize the production website for reasonable loading performance.
This should include, where applicable:
* Page caching
* Browser caching
* Compression
* Database optimization
* CSS/JavaScript optimization
* Image optimization
* Lazy loading
* Removal of unnecessary resources
* Reducing unnecessary external requests
The developer should check the website with standard performance tools before handover.
---
# 11. Security
Perform basic production security hardening.
This should include:
* HTTPS configuration
* Secure redirects
* PHP configuration review
* File/folder permission review
* Protection of configuration files
* Database credential protection
* Admin security
* Form security
* Spam protection where appropriate
* Input validation
* Basic SQL injection/XSS review
* Removal of unnecessary development/debug information
No passwords, API keys, or tokens should be exposed publicly.
---
# 12. Email / SMTP Configuration
Configure reliable website email delivery using SMTP if required.
Test important website emails such as:
* Registration emails
* Password reset emails
* Contact messages
* Administrative notifications
---
# 13. Legal/Compliance Pages and Cookie Setup
Set up or configure the technical structure for pages such as:
* Privacy Policy
* Terms and Conditions
* Affiliate Disclosure
* Cookie Policy
* Contact Us
* About Us
Implement an appropriate cookie-consent mechanism where technically required.
The client will be responsible for approving the final legal wording.
---
# 14. Initial Website Population
The website must not be delivered looking empty or unfinished.
Using legally permitted data from configured affiliate networks/APIs, populate the website sufficiently to demonstrate that:
* Stores work
* Categories work
* Coupons work
* Products work
* Search works
* Affiliate links work
* Automated imports work
Do not scrape copyrighted/protected content from websites without authorization.
Affiliate-network feeds/APIs should be used whenever available.
---
# 15. Production Deployment
After development and testing, deploy the final version to:
**clipitfree.com**
The production deployment must include:
* Database changes
* Source-code changes
* Configuration
* Cron jobs
* Affiliate integrations
* SSL/HTTPS
* Analytics
* SEO settings
* Performance settings
The live production website should be tested after deployment.
---
# 16. Final Quality Assurance

Test at minimum:

* Categories
* Coupons
* Products
* Search
* User registration/login

* Affiliate links
* Coupon redirects

# Contract Type
**Fixed Price Only**
I prefer **one complete turnkey project rather than hourly billing**.
The objective is to test and accept the entire completed website once.
Payment will therefore be released after the complete agreed scope has been delivered, deployed, and successfully tested.
The freelancer should quote a total fixed price covering the full scope.
Please do not submit a low initial bid and then expect to substantially increase the price after receiving access to the website.
If you believe a specific requirement is technically impossible because of an affiliate network/API restriction, identify this clearly in your proposal.
---
# Budget
Higher proposals may be considered for developers who can demonstrate substantial relevant experience and can handle any required custom API modernization.

Please apply only if you have strong experience with several of the following:
