Senior Data Analyst - Data Operations

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Data Analyst to own complex analysis and support daily data operations. This role requires advanced SQL and T-SQL skills, strong Python skills, strong business judgment, and the ability to work independently with stakeholders. You will turn large and complex datasets into clear business insights, improve and automate reports and operational processes, and solve data issues from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders while taking full ownership of priorities, quality, and delivery. Responsibilities • Own analytical and operational data tasks from requirement gathering through delivery and follow-up. • Write advanced SQL and T-SQL queries to analyze large datasets, investigate issues, and answer complex business questions. • Improve and automate reports and recurring operational processes. • Monitor data quality and key data flows. Find errors, identify root causes, and coordinate fixes with the relevant teams. • Perform exploratory and statistical analysis to find patterns, risks, and business opportunities. • Turn unclear business needs into clear analytical questions, practical solutions, and measurable results. • Manage several priorities independently and respond quickly to urgent operational needs. • Present findings in a clear way and give practical recommendations to stakeholders. Requirements • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role. • Advanced SQL skills are required, including complex joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, aggregations, data validation, and query performance improvement. • Hands-on experience with T-SQL is required. • Strong Python skills for data analysis, data processing, and process automation. SQL remains the main focus of the role. • Proven experience working with large relational databases and complex data models. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a record of turning complex data into clear decisions and actions. • Strong operational approach: organized, responsive, detail-focused, and comfortable handling both planned work and urgent data issues. • High level of independence and ownership. Able to set priorities, make sound decisions, and complete work with limited supervision. • Experience improving and automating reports and operational analysis processes. • Strong written and spoken communication skills. Able to work well with stakeholders.
