Senior Full-Stack Engineer - API Integrations & Logistics Automation

Summary: We’re building a vehicle shipping platform and need a senior full-stack engineer to connect and automate the systems already running our business. Our current stack includes a customer-facing website and instant quote flow, HubSpot CRM, Stripe payments, and Super Dispatch. Some steps between these systems still require manual work, and we want to turn the full booking-to-delivery process into one reliable automated workflow. ✅ What You’ll Build You’ll review the existing application and design the backend integration layer connecting quoting, booking, payment, dispatch, and customer communication. One important requirement is vendor independence. Super Dispatch should sit behind a provider adapter rather than being tightly coupled to the core application. If we change dispatch providers later, the rest of the platform should continue working with minimal changes. The workflow will include: - Customer accepts a quote and books a shipment - Stripe handles payment authorization or deposits - Customer and shipment records sync with HubSpot - Shipments are submitted to Super Dispatch through its API - Webhooks sync shipment and payment status changes - Customers receive notifications at key shipment stages - Failed API calls, retries, and duplicate webhooks are handled safely We need someone who can think through the architecture, not just connect APIs. The system should have clear shipment states, idempotent webhook processing, useful logging, and a clean integration layer that can support additional providers later. ✅ What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks, Stripe, HubSpot, and SQL/database design is preferred. Experience building logistics, freight, transportation, marketplace, or other multi-step transaction platforms is a strong plus. For the right engineer, this can become a longer-term engagement. Future work may include customer and carrier portals, internal dispatch tools, automated pricing, and additional logistics automation. ✅ When Applying Please include: 1.
