Supabase Developer Needed – Small Backend Task

I’m looking for an experienced Supabase developer to implement or fix a small backend task using a Supabase Edge Function. The application is already built, and the task is limited in scope. I need someone who can understand the existing setup, implement the required Edge Function, and make sure it integrates correctly with the existing Supabase database and application. What you’ll work with: -Supabase Edge Functions -Deno / TypeScript -Supabase PostgreSQL -Supabase Auth -Database queries and relationships -Existing React/Next.js application The task The exact functionality will be provided after hiring, but it will involve a relatively small Edge Function that needs to interact with the existing Supabase backend. The developer should be able to: Understand the existing database structure Create or modify an Edge Function Work with Supabase environment variables/secrets Handle authentication and permissions correctly Query/update the database securely Test the function and verify the integration Keep the implementation clean and minimal Requirements: -Strong hands-on experience with Supabase Edge Functions -Good TypeScript/Deno knowledge -Solid PostgreSQL/Supabase experience -Understanding of Supabase Auth and RLS -Ability to troubleshoot independently -Clear communication -Clean and maintainable code Please include a brief example of a Supabase Edge Function you have personally built or worked on and explain what it was used for. This is a small initial task. If the work goes well, there may be additional Supabase/backend tasks in the future.
