We are an early-stage startup looking for an experienced AI Developer to build and integrate an AI-powered chatbot into our existing website. We need someone who can independently handle AI application development, backend integration, and deployment while delivering a functional MVP within a fixed budget and timeline. Scope of Work 1. AI Chatbot Development Develop an AI-powered chatbot using OpenAI or Claude API. Implement contextual conversations and prompt engineering. Enable the chatbot to answer questions based on our website content and FAQs. Implement basic RAG for knowledge-based responses. 2. Backend & Database Build REST APIs using Python and FastAPI. Integrate Supabase for storing chat sessions and application data. Implement secure API handling, logging, and error management. 3. Website Integration & Deployment Integrate the chatbot into our existing website. Ensure responsive functionality across devices. Optimize LLM API usage and response performance. Test, deploy, and document the implementation. Preferred Experience Python, FastAPI, and Supabase. OpenAI API or Anthropic Claude API. AI chatbot development and LLM integration. RAG implementation and prompt engineering. Experience using Claude Code or Cursor for AI-assisted development is a plus. Expected Deliverables Fully functional website AI chatbot.
