AI Engineer / Developer (Autonomous Agents & Open-Source LLMs)

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer / Developer to build and deploy a highly customized, fully autonomous agent system inspired by the OpenAI Dots architecture. Our goal is to build a local or self-hosted, unrestricted agent pipeline that can run 24/7 background tasks (web crawling, file manipulation, script execution) without the restrictive guardrails, constant permission prompts, or ecosystem throttling found in commercial solutions. You will be responsible for setting up isolated execution environments (like Docker containers or sandboxed cloud environments) and integrating open-source or API-driven LLMs optimized for raw capability, deep autonomy, and speed. Key Responsibilities • Architect Autonomous Workflows: Design and deploy 24/7 "always-on" background agents capable of navigating the web, handling files, and executing code autonomously. • Bypass Restrictive Ecosystems: Build or adapt open-source alternatives (such as OpenDots, LangChain, or CrewAI) to achieve a completely uncensored, "un-nerfed" agent environment. • Environment Sandboxing: Set up secure, isolated, and stateful execution environments (browsers, terminals, file systems) where the agent can work without compromising host security. • Model Optimization: Select, fine-tune, or prompt-engineer open-source models (like Llama 3/4, Mistral, or DeepSeek) or utilize advanced API configurations to maximize agent autonomy and task completion rates. • API & Tool Integration: Connect the agent to external tools, database systems, and custom APIs to give it full operational capability. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong AI/LLM Background: Deep experience working with the OpenAI API, as well as open-source foundational models and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, CopilotKit). • Python Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Python, asynchronous programming, and script automation. • DevOps & Containerization: Strong proficiency with Docker, cloud compute instances (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean), and sandboxed execution systems. • Web Automation: Experience with headless browsers and automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer. • Problem-Solving Mindset: A hacker mindset focused on maximizing AI capability, removing unnecessary software bottlenecks, and optimizing autonomous decision-making.
