Company Overview We're an emerging snacking brand on a mission to bring healthier, delicious snacks to more customers. Project Overview We're building a recruitment platform that enables HR teams to efficiently search and match candidates from their existing resume database using AI. We need experienced Python/AI developers to build an AI-powered resume intelligence and candidate matching application that processes resumes, understands job descriptions, ranks the most relevant candidates, and gives recruiters a simple interface to review results. This project has a well-defined scope, with additional phases planned after the initial release. Daily progress updates and milestone demonstrations are expected. What You'll Do: - Build bulk resume upload and AI-powered resume parsing - Set up or refine the candidate database - Build job description upload and AI requirement extraction - Develop the AI matching and ranking engine - Build match score and explanation logic - Implement role-based access control (RBAC) - Build the recruiter interface and end-to-end workflow What We're Looking For: - Experience with Python and AI/LLM-based applications - Hands-on experience with resume parsing, NLP, or candidate matching systems - Strong grasp of clean, modular code with proper validation and documentation - Ability to work independently, commit regularly to GitHub, and deliver on tight milestones Goals: - Deliver a complete, end-to-end AI-powered candidate matching application - Improve recruiter efficiency in searching and shortlisting candidates - Lay the foundation for future phases of the platform Deliverables: - Complete source code - Backend APIs - AI matching functionality - Database implementation - Functional web application - Setup and deployment documentation - End-to-end working application Milestones: Milestone 1 — Due by Day 5 | Payment: $600 - Project setup, bulk resume upload, AI resume parsing, candidate database, candidate information extraction and storage Milestone 2 — Due by Day 10 | Payment: $600 - Job description upload, AI requirement extraction, AI matching engine, candidate ranking and scoring Milestone 3 — Due by Day 14 | Payment: $600 - Recruiter interface, candidate ranking page, resume viewer, end-to-end integration, testing, setup and deployment documentation Engagement: Start with a fixed-price, milestone-based engagement over 2 weeks, with potential for ongoing work on future phases of the platform if it's a good fit.
