Financial Analyst

About the Role We are looking for a Finance Analyst to work closely with the founders and help build the financial foundations of a fast growing company. This role combines financial analysis, financial modelling, reporting, and strategic planning. You will help us understand business performance, develop forecasting models, support key decisions, and prepare the company for growth and international expansion. What You'll Work On Preparing and analysing cash flow forecasts, P&L statements, and balance sheets Supporting financial reporting and preparation of annual accounts Assisting with tax incentive and relief programmes (including R&D tax credits) Building and maintaining financial models and forecasts Analysing product performance, sales trends, and company profitability Supporting budget planning and financial planning Providing financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making Researching industry benchmarks and competitor financial practices Supporting planning around corporate structure, financing options, and international expansion Analysing business performance and marketing data Requirements 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following: finance, financial modelling, M&A, accounting, financial analysis, consulting, financial diligence, or professional services Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting Strong modelling skills in Apple Numbers and/or Excel Ability to build financial models and work comfortably with formulas and datasets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights Nice to Have Experience with forecasting and financial modelling Exposure to product or e-commerce businesses Familiarity with performance or marketing analytics Basic programming or data analysis skills (Python, SQL, etc.) What We Offer A very supportive and friendly working environment Direct collaboration with founders on high-impact decisions Opportunity to build financial systems and models from the ground up Exposure to growth strategy, financing, and international expansion A flexible and entrepreneurial working environment
