HealthTech Platform — Full Technical Audit & AI Agent

We’re looking for a senior Full-Stack + AI Engineer to audit and assess an existing HealthTech platform and define the roadmap for its next phase. This is a full-system technical audit, covering the application, backend, database, infrastructure, security, integrations, and AI architecture. What you'll review * Frontend & backend architecture * APIs, database & data flows * Authentication, authorization & RBAC * Infrastructure, deployment & scalability * Security, logging & monitoring * Third-party healthcare integrations * Performance and technical debt * Patient/provider/admin workflows * Current and planned AI capabilities AI Agent A major part of the project is designing an AI agent layer that can work with the platform's approved workflows. We need someone who can assess/design: * RAG & knowledge base architecture * LLM and agent orchestration * Tool/function calling * Agent permissions and guardrails * Human-in-the-loop workflows * AI evaluation and monitoring * Secure access to healthcare data * Audit trails for AI actions The agent may support tasks such as documentation, information retrieval, administrative workflows, summaries, reporting, and controlled system actions while keeping sensitive/clinical decisions under appropriate human oversight. Deliverables * Complete technical audit * Security & architecture findings * Risk/priority assessment * Current vs. recommended architecture * AI agent architecture & implementation plan * Prioritized roadmap for remediation and development Ideal candidate Strong experience with React/Next.js, Node.js/Python, PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and production AI/LLM systems. Experience with HealthTech, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 2, GDPR, or other security-sensitive platforms is a strong plus. We’re looking for someone who can understand the **entire system end-to-end**, not simply run automated scanners and provide a generic report.
