Lead Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer (React/Node) – End-to-End Product Ownership

Project Overview: We are looking for a highly capable, autonomous Full-Stack TypeScript Developer to take complete technical and product ownership of our web portals and reporting systems. In this role, you will operate as a core driver of our engineering efforts within a small, fast-moving team. You will be responsible for everything from foundational architecture and DevOps to product design and final deployment. Because our generated reports are delivered directly to program participants and high-level economic buyers, a meticulous approach to data accuracy and quality assurance is absolutely critical. Key Responsibilities: New Portal Ownership: Take full end-to-end ownership of our new custom portal (dnate_dashboard_portal), managing the React/TypeScript frontend, Node/Express API, and Prisma/PostgreSQL database. Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage hosting and deployment environments using Cloudways and a DigitalOcean managed database, alongside general production support. Reporting Pipelines: Build, maintain, and ensure 100% data accuracy for our core reporting pipelines, including the CLEAR Performance Profile, CLEAR Cohort Overview, and APS reports. Product & Design: Drive product decisions by taking concepts from initial mockup to live production, collaborating closely with non-technical stakeholders for final copy and design sign-off. Integrations & Automations: Develop and maintain seamless integrations across our tech stack, including Calendly, Resend, Fireflies, Otter, and Google Workspace. Internal Tools: Build and maintain administrative tools, such as the Cohorts Dashboard, to empower our internal operations. Legacy Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for our legacy WordPress portal as we transition to the new stack. What We Are Looking For: Technical Expertise: Strong, proven experience in full-stack TypeScript (React, Node.js/Express) and relational database design (PostgreSQL, Prisma). End-to-End Ownership: Deep comfort acting as a standalone product engineer—capable of owning product, design, and engineering lifecycles entirely within a small team setting. Extreme Attention to Detail: Careful and rigorous regarding data accuracy; you understand the business impact of data errors in client-facing reports. Clear Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical constraints into business realities. Bonus: Experience leveraging AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) efficiently and securely within clear development guardrails.
