Looking for a Full-Stack Developer to Improve Our Healthcare Web Application (React, Node.js, AI)

Hello, I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys fixing and improving existing software. We have a healthcare web application that we've been using in our clinic for a few years now. It wasn't built by one person, so different developers have worked on it over time. It still does what we need, but lately it feels like we're patching things instead of improving them. My staff has mentioned that certain parts are slower than they used to be. Sometimes information doesn't seem to update right away unless they refresh the screen, and every time we add a new feature, something else seems to need adjusting. I have a feeling the application needs a proper clean-up before we continue building on it. I'm not a software person, so I may not use the right terms, but I believe it's built with **React, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, REST API, and AWS**. I'd like someone to go through the application, understand how it's put together, clean up the code where it makes sense, improve performance, fix any issues you find, and make sure it's in good shape for future development. I'm also interested in adding a few AI features. Nothing flashy. Just things that would genuinely help us. For example, helping doctors turn their notes into a patient summary, helping staff find patient information more quickly, or drafting routine letters and responses to save time. If you've worked with **OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, RAG, vector databases, Docker, Redis, FHIR, HL7, EMR/EHR systems,** or similar healthcare applications, that's definitely a plus.
