Mobile App Developer for a Community-Driven Workspace App Prototype

We are a start-up company, and we want to develop a prototype of a mobile application which helps people find comfortable places where they can spend time working or studying. The core concept is a community-driven platform tailored for students and remote workers. The app shows workspaces such as coworking spaces, cafés, libraries and quiet open-air spots either on an interactive map or in a list view, where they can be sorted by distance, rating or number of reviews and narrowed down with filters such as Wi-Fi, power outlets, noise level or opening hours. A key aspect of our app is crowdsourcing: the locations are added and updated by the user community. Additionally, we want to integrate a dynamic weather-based filtering system (e.g. given the notoriously unpredictable nature of Swiss weather, the app will automatically filter out open-air locations if it starts raining). November 2026 - Budget: 8 - 12 hours for development Deliverables: - Deliverable 1: An interactive map and a list view of workspaces (coworking spaces, cafes, libraries, quiet places), sortable by distance and rating, with custom filters. - Deliverable 2: A detail page for each location with its information and user reviews (cards with photos, reviews, etc.). - Deliverable 3: Users can add, update, save "featured" locations, open-air locations are hidden automatically when it rains (weather API, Zurich only). - Deliverable 4: User authentication for students only: sign up / log in with a university email address, confirmed by an email verification code. - Deliverable 5: The whole project fits into one zip-file (including database).
