Odoo Developer needed for a POC development

Part-Time Odoo Developer About the Role We are looking for an experienced **Odoo Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience** for a short-term, part-time engagement. The selected candidate will work on developing a **Proof of Concept (POC)** for a potential project that is currently in the proposal stage. This is an initial **40–50 hour engagement**, with the possibility of further work based on the project outcome and client confirmation. Key Responsibilities * Understand the business requirements and translate them into an Odoo-based solution. * Design and develop the required **POC in Odoo** within the defined scope and timeline. * Customize and configure Odoo modules based on project requirements. * Develop custom Odoo modules, workflows, business logic, and integrations as required. * Work with Odoo's backend framework, ORM, APIs, and database. * Ensure the POC is functional, scalable, and suitable for demonstrating to the prospective client. * Identify technical challenges and recommend appropriate Odoo-based solutions. * Collaborate with the internal team to understand requirements and provide regular progress updates. * Document the key technical aspects and implementation approach of the POC. Required Skills & Experience * 5+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development. * Strong experience with Python and Odoo's development framework. * Good understanding of Odoo ORM, models, views, workflows, and module development. * Experience with PostgreSQL. * Experience in Odoo customization, configuration, and custom module development. * Good understanding of Odoo APIs and third-party integrations. * Familiarity with Odoo frontend technologies such as XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * Ability to independently understand requirements and develop solutions within a short timeline. * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
