Python / Playwright Developer – Financial Website Data Extraction PoC

I am looking for an experienced Python / browser automation developer to build a small technical proof of concept. The purpose of the project is to evaluate whether publicly available retail financial product information and results from interactive online loan calculators can be collected automatically, accurately and repeatedly. This is not a SaaS development project and no UI/dashboard is required. The primary goal is technical feasibility testing. Scope The initial PoC will cover: 5 financial institution websites one European market one retail lending product category one standardized loan scenario The system should collect publicly available product information such as: loan amount and term limits advertised interest rates origination/contract fees recurring administration fees relevant conditions attached to the advertised offer It should also be able to interact with JavaScript-based loan calculators where available, enter a predefined loan amount and term, and extract the resulting financial values. Results should be returned as structured JSON and CSV data, together with source information and collection timestamp. An important part of the project is determining whether extracted values actually correspond to the scenario entered into the calculator, rather than simply extracting unrelated representative examples displayed elsewhere on the page. The extraction must be repeatable and should fail safely: if a value cannot be reliably determined, it should be flagged for review rather than inferred or fabricated. Preferred experience: Python Playwright or equivalent browser automation web scraping / structured data extraction JavaScript-heavy websites and interactive forms/calculators network/API inspection data validation Experience with LLM-assisted structured extraction is useful, but strong browser automation and data extraction experience is more important. Deliverables: working PoC for the selected websites source code structured sample output basic setup/run instructions short technical feasibility assessment covering scalability, website-specific implementation and expected maintenance This is an experimental feasibility project, not production software. A more detailed technical specification will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
