I run a business consulting firm (KVServices LLC) serving construction and trades clients. I have already built a fully functional, polished client portal as a single HTML file — the front end design, layout, branding, and all client dashboards are complete and require no design work from you. I need a developer to: Connect live data sources to the existing front end Set up a Firebase backend for real-time agenda management Build a simple admin panel for me to manage clients and PINs Deploy the finished app as a PWA (Progressive Web App) to Netlify This is a data-connection and backend job — not a design job. The front end is done. Phase 1 — Nordak Excavation Solutions (Pilot Client) We are starting with one client to get the system right before rolling out to all clients. Here is exactly what needs to be built for the pilot: 1. QuickBooks Online Integration I am a QuickBooks Accountant on all client accounts, so one OAuth connection covers everything — you do not need to set up per-client credentials. Pull the following data from Nordak Excavation's QuickBooks account and display it live in the portal: Profit & Loss — Year to Date (income categories, expense categories, net income) Current AR (Accounts Receivable) — who owes Nordak money, invoice numbers, amounts, due dates, overdue status Credit card balances — current balance owed on all business credit cards Bank account balances — current balance only (no transaction history needed) Contract tracker — pull all active contracts/jobs and match them against invoices to show: Contract name, Total contract value, Amount billed to date, Amount remaining All QuickBooks data should refresh automatically every time the portal is opened or the page is refreshed. 2. OneDrive File Integration Connect to a specific OneDrive folder for Nordak and display its contents inside the portal under a "Files" tab. Structure: Files (top level — this is what the client sees) Contracts (subfolder) Proposals (subfolder) Clients should be able to view and download files but cannot see anything outside their designated folder. No access to the rest of my OneDrive. 3. Firebase — Live Agenda Set up a Firebase Realtime Database (or Firestore) to power the agenda tab for each client. Agenda items stored in Firebase per client Portal reads and displays agenda items in real time When I add or update an agenda item (via the admin panel — see below) it appears on the client's portal instantly with no file upload or redeployment required Agenda items have: title, detail/notes, project group, date or ASAP status, completion status (checkable by client) Completed items move to a "Completed" section at the bottom (already built in the front end) 4. PIN Login — Per Client URL Replace the current email/password login with a simple 4-digit PIN system: Each client gets their own unique URL (e.g. kovservices.com/nordak) Opening the URL shows a clean PIN pad with the client's logo and brand colors Correct PIN → straight into their dashboard Wrong PIN → stays locked iPhone autofill/Face ID should work naturally with the PIN field Session persists for 30 days so clients rarely have to enter the PIN again 5. KVServices Admin Panel Build a password-protected admin panel at a separate URL (e.g. kovservices.com/admin) where I can: View all clients in one place with a dropdown switcher to jump between portals Add, edit, or delete agenda items for any client (these update live in Firebase instantly) Manage client PINs — view and change PINs per client Add new clients to the system See a status indicator showing whether each client's QuickBooks and OneDrive connections are active The admin panel should be simple and clean — I am not technical so it needs to be easy to use without touching code. Phase 2 — Roll Out to All Clients (Follow-on Work) Once Nordak is working correctly, I will hire you to roll the same system out to the remaining 3 clients(could be even more if it works well and I can start selling). Each client may have slightly different QuickBooks reports and OneDrive folder structures. Some clients have multiple sub-companies under one portal (e.g. Erickson has 2 entities, each needing their own P&L). This will be scoped separately after Phase 1 is complete. What I Am Providing You Complete front end HTML file — fully designed, branded per client, all layouts done. You are not building UI from scratch. QuickBooks Accountant access — one OAuth connection covers all clients OneDrive access — I will set up the folder structure before you begin Firebase account — I will create one and give you access Netlify account — already set up, domain partially configured (kovservices.com) Full brief and documentation — I can answer questions quickly and clearly Tech Stack Front end: HTML/CSS/JavaScript (single file, no framework currently — you may refactor to React if preferred) Database: Firebase Realtime Database or Firestore Integrations: QuickBooks Online API, Microsoft Graph API (OneDrive) Hosting: Netlify Auth: PIN-based per client URL, separate admin password What I Am Looking For Experience with QuickBooks Online API (this is the most important skill) Experience with Microsoft Graph API / OneDrive Firebase / Firestore experience Ability to explain things in plain English — I am not technical Clean, well-commented code so future developers can pick it up easily Someone who asks good questions upfront rather than surprises at the end Budget & Timeline Phase 1 budget: $800–1,500 (open to discussion based on your experience) Timeline: Ideally complete within 2–3 weeks Payment: Milestone based — I will release payment as each piece is completed and tested To Apply Please answer the following in your proposal: Have you worked with the QuickBooks Online API before? If yes, briefly describe what you built. Have you worked with the Microsoft Graph API or OneDrive integration before? Have you built a Firebase-backed PWA before? What is your estimated timeline and breakdown for Phase 1? Any questions about the project? Proposals that do not answer these questions will not be considered. This is the beginning of an ongoing relationship. If Phase 1 goes well, Phase 2 (remaining 6 clients) follows immediately, plus ongoing maintenance and feature additions as the portal grows.
