Rebuild Toy Store Website

Description: I own Smart Kids Toys, a toy store based in the Cockeysville, MD area, with an existing website at smartkidstoystore.com. I need a developer to clean it up and get core e-commerce functionality working correctly. I'll act as site admin and will help with product selection/content — I just need someone to execute the build. Scope of work: -Redesign for simplicity — Clean, minimal layout with products front and center. Keep it easy to browse, no clutter. -Fix Square payment integration — Current Square checkout is broken/non-functional. Needs to be diagnosed and fixed so payments process correctly. -Customer accounts — Shoppers should be able to register their own accounts, log in, and check out. I (admin) should receive a notification for every order placed. -Shipping cost calculation — Shipping should be calculated dynamically based on customer distance/delivery time rather than a flat rate. -Preserve blog and other existing site sections — Don't remove content, just apply the same clean design treatment across the site. -Product catalog — Site will carry roughly 50 products total. I'll provide product selections, images, and descriptions as needed. What I'm looking for: -Experience with Squarespace -Someone comfortable working directly with an existing site (not a from-scratch build) to avoid disrupting existing blog/content -Clear communication — I'll be available to review progress and provide product info promptly
