Senior Full-Stack Developer (React, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core, Azure)

Contract / Project-based • Senior • Remote with UAE-hours overlap Project Overview About the project: We are developing an enterprise-grade AI-powered multilingual examination and assessment platform for a large-scale digital transformation initiative. It includes candidate registration, written and oral examinations, automated assessment, human review, administration and reporting. The role: Own production application modules across React frontend, .NET backend, integrations and deployment. Work closely with the solution architect, AI engineers, UX/UI designer and delivery manager. Frontend Responsibilities • Build candidate, assessor and administrator applications using React and TypeScript from Figma designs. • Implement timed written examination screens, question navigation, autosave, submission and recovery states. • Build oral examination screens with audio playback, microphone access, recording and submission. • Support Arabic RTL/LTR layouts and multilingual content. • Implement AI scoring review, overrides, question-bank management, scheduling and reporting interfaces. Backend Responsibilities • Build secure REST APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core; maintain OpenAPI documentation. • Implement examination scheduling, lifecycle, session state, timer enforcement and submissions. • Develop authentication, role-based access and OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect integration, including UAE PASS where required. • Design PostgreSQL schemas, migrations and data access. • Implement asynchronous processing, queues, retries, audit logs and PDF exports. • Integrate AI services through APIs; securely manage answer, audio and assessment storage. Infrastructure & Delivery • Containerize services using Docker and support Azure Container Apps / AKS or equivalent Kubernetes deployment. • Integrate Blob Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault and monitoring services as applicable. • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, troubleshooting and technical handover. Required Skills • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong React, TypeScript, C# and ASP.NET Core experience. • Production REST API design, PostgreSQL and relational data modeling. • OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, authorization, security and audit logging. • Docker, cloud deployment, asynchronous integrations and Git. • Ability to independently deliver complex workflows with clear communication. Preferred Experience • Microsoft Azure; AI/LLM API integration. • Browser-based audio/media workflows, multilingual Arabic RTL interfaces. • Assessment/LMS systems or security-sensitive enterprise applications. Expected Deliverables • Production-ready frontend and backend modules and documented APIs. • Database schema/migrations and integrated candidate, assessor and admin workflows. • Tests, deployment-ready code, integration documentation and handover.
