Senior Mobile Developer

About us Redeem Layer builds subscription wellness apps that employees unlock through their workplace rewards programs. Our founders bring more than 30 years of building and scaling organizations, including two scale-ups taken to successful exits. We have established partnerships and agreements in place, so our apps launch with distribution ready and room to grow fast. We'll provide the designs, specs and content to get the app done. We need a senior developer to build it and ship it. The right person gets profit sharing, fully remote work, and the option for a long-term role as we roll out the next apps. The role You will be our only engineer on this build, working directly with the founders. We own product design, specs, acceptance criteria, content and user testing. You own the code, from first commit to App Store and Google Play launch. Skills we're looking for • An audio library with smooth playback, including background audio • Streaks and reminder notifications • Login and user data on Firebase • Subscriptions and a paywall (e.g. with tools like RevenueCat) • Analytics (e.g. with tools like Mixpanel) • App Store and Google Play submission Must have • You have shipped at least one paid consumer app, not just client work • Senior experience with Flutter (preferred) or React Native • You have built in-app subscriptions with RevenueCat, StoreKit or Google Play Billing • Backend experience with Firebase or Supabase • You use AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code every day and build fast with them Nice to have • Wellness, fitness or education apps in your portfolio • Experience with paywall testing, App Store optimization and retention metrics • Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience How we work • Clear specs and acceptance criteria for each feature • A weekly review with the founders • Payment by milestone • All code and IP is assigned to Redeem Layer
