Senior WordPress / Elementor Pro Developer | UX, Templates & Performance

We are looking for an experienced WordPress / Elementor Pro developer to take over an existing website and bring it to a polished, production ready standard. The website already has its basic visual foundation, brand guidelines, and interactive mockups. However, several internal pages, reusable templates, navigation elements, and content relationships need further development. This is not a project from scratch. We need someone who can quickly understand an existing implementation, preserve what works, improve what does not, and deliver clean, maintainable results. ### Responsibilities - Review the existing WordPress and Elementor Pro setup, including Theme Builder, templates, global styles, and responsive behavior. - Build and refine reusable page templates based on supplied mockups. - Improve desktop and mobile navigation, including mega menus. - Refine spacing, typography, responsive layouts, accessibility, and overall UX. - Optimize page performance, images, loading behavior, and Core Web Vitals. - Ensure clean heading structures, SEO-friendly layouts, and consistent page organization. - Test across desktop, tablet, mobile, and major browsers. - Identify structural issues early and recommend practical solutions without unnecessary rebuilding. ### Required Skills - Advanced WordPress and Elementor Pro experience, particularly Theme Builder. - Strong understanding of reusable templates and dynamic content. - Solid HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP skills. - Experience improving existing WordPress websites built by other developers. - Strong responsive design, UX, and accessibility knowledge. - Practical performance optimization experience. - Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver reliable results. ### Availability - Mandatory - Must be available to start Monday. - Must work during PST business hours, not simply maintain a few hours of overlap. - Must be consistently reachable and responsive throughout the PST workday. - Must be able to prioritize this project from the start. ### Working Style We value developers who take ownership, understand requirements quickly, and communicate directly. You should be comfortable reviewing an existing build, making sound technical decisions, raising concerns early, and working closely from supplied designs and feedback. We will begin with a review of the existing staging site, followed by implementation of an initial template. Additional work will follow based on the results. ### To Apply Please include: 1.
