Android / React Native Code Review : Expo + TypeScript WHAT IT IS A staff-facing mobile client for a B2B SaaS product. Pure client over an existing REST backend no server code in this repo. Android-first; Play Store submission is the near-term target. Product details on a call. STACK React Native + Expo (Expo Router, file-based routing), TypeScript strict, NativeWind, TanStack Query, Zustand, Supabase auth (PKCE + deep links), EAS Build. WHAT WE WANT REVIEWED An independent, evidence-based review of the codebase. 1. Android/Expo correctness manifest and permissions, adaptive icon setup, EAS build profiles, cleartext traffic, anything that would fail Play review or behave differently on a real device than in Expo Go. 2. Architecture and data flow the app is mid-migration from a design-fidelity mock to a fully wired client, and both halves currently coexist per screen. We want an outside read on whether that seam is being managed well. 3. Security the app ships a Supabase anon key and some screens read Supabase directly rather than through the REST API. We want that assessed properly: what an extracted key can reach, whether RLS is doing the work we think it is, and where a read should move behind the backend. 4. State and caching TanStack Query usage, retry behaviour on auth errors, a polling loop on one screen, and anything that will misbehave on a poor mobile connection. 5. Testing gap there is currently no test runner and no linter. We want a recommendation on what to add and where it would have caught real bugs, not a generic "add Jest" answer. WHAT YOU GET Full repo access, a detailed architecture document that covers the known gaps honestly, a design spec, and a Play Store readiness checklist. We are not hiding the rough edges the review is more useful if you start from what we already know. WHAT WE WANT BACK A written report with file:line citations for every claim, ranked by severity, separating (a) genuine defects, (b) things you checked and found sound, and (c) judgement calls where you would have done it differently. The middle list matters to us as much as the first. No fixes unless we ask. Review first, then we scope the work. TO APPLY Tell us about a React Native app you have taken through Play Store review, and one thing you have found in someone else's codebase that the authors did not know was there.
