Full-Stack Developer Needed — Multi-Tenant Website + CMS Platform Job Description We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a scalable website and CMS platform for Buyer Direct, a team of senior mortgage loan officers. This is not a project to build multiple individual websites. We want to build one master platform that can generate and manage 30–50+ individual loan officer websites, each with its own custom domain and personalized content. Core Architecture We want: One Codebase → One CMS → One Master Template → Multiple LO Websites → Multiple Custom Domains Each loan officer will have their own: * Custom domain * Digital profile * Bio, photos and credentials * NMLS/licensing information * Google reviews/testimonials * YouTube videos * Educational content * Contact information * Scheduling link * Mortgage application link We will initially launch approximately 4 loan officers, but the architecture needs to comfortably support 50+. Central CMS We want one centralized CMS with role-based access. Platform Admin: manages all websites, loan officers, content and settings. Loan Officer: logs in and can manage only their own profile, photos, bio, videos, reviews, contact information, social links, calendar and application links. Content Admin: manages shared educational content across the platform. Loan officers should not be able to modify the core design/template. Mortgage Answers — Important A major part of the project is an educational content library containing approximately 30–50 Mortgage Answer pages initially, with potentially hundreds in the future. Examples: * How much money do I need for a down payment? * What credit score do I need? * How much home can I afford? * When should I get pre-approved? * FHA vs. Conventional * Can I buy a home if I’m self-employed? * Should I pay off debt before buying? We do not want 50 pages manually designed. The developer should create one reusable Mortgage Answer template connected to structured CMS fields. Our team should be able to: Add Mortgage Answer → Enter Content → Add YouTube Video → Select Related Content → Publish The finished page should automatically generate using the master design. No developer should be required to create additional educational pages. Shared Content + Personalization Educational content may be shared across multiple LO websites while dynamically displaying the appropriate LO’s: * Photo * Bio * Video * Reviews * Contact information * Calendar * Application link * CTA We will need an appropriate SEO/canonical strategy for content shared across multiple domains. Videos YouTube will be our primary video hosting platform. Videos should be embedded into the appropriate educational pages and LO profiles. CMS should allow videos to be categorized and associated with specific topics and loan officers. Technology We are open to the technology stack. Possible approaches include: * Next.js / React * Headless CMS * Supabase * WordPress Multisite * Other modern multi-tenant CMS architecture We care more about scalability, speed, security and ease of administration than any particular technology. We want the developer to recommend the architecture and explain why. Initial Deliverables V1 should include the master website/template, centralized CMS, role-based permissions, multi-domain capability, LO profile/home template, About page, Videos page, Reviews section, Mortgage Answers library and reusable article template, YouTube embeds, scheduling/application links, SEO fundamentals, GA4/GTM tracking, responsive/mobile design, first complete LO website, and documentation/process for launching additional LOs. The Critical Requirement After development is completed, our internal team should be able to: Create LO → Enter Profile → Connect Domain → Assign Content → Add Videos → Publish without developer involvement. We should also be able to: Create Mortgage Answer #51, #100 or #200 without touching code. The goal is not to build 50 websites. I would not publish a fixed budget yet.
