Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js + HTML5 Canvas + 2D Geometry / CAD)

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to build a specialized, cloud-based B2B SaaS application focused on 2D vector layout optimization and CAD processing. ​The application allows users to upload technical 2D vector files, configure layout parameters, visualize results on an interactive web canvas, and export production-ready output behind a tiered subscription paywall. Full technical architecture specifications and UI wireframes will be provided upon signing a standard mutual NDA. ​Key Responsibilities ​Frontend Canvas: Build a responsive 2D manipulation viewport (pan, zoom, multi-shape rendering, selection) using Konva.js, Fabric.js, or Pixi.js in a Next.js/React framework. ​Vector File Ingestion & Reconstruction: Parse 2D vector entities (DXF/SVG contours, polylines, arcs, layers) into geometric polygons and re-export them cleanly with strict dimensional accuracy and layer preservation. ​Worker & Queue Architecture: Connect the web application to a background worker pool (Redis + BullMQ or similar) that triggers a pre-compiled native CLI computational geometry engine inside Docker containers. ​SaaS Foundation: Integrate user authentication (Supabase or Clerk), PostgreSQL database schemas, and Stripe Billing (subscription tiers, quota limits, and webhook handling). ​Required Skills & Experience ​Strong proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and modern React patterns. ​Hands-on experience with HTML5 Canvas vector rendering libraries (Konva, Fabric, or Pixi). ​Experience parsing and manipulating 2D CAD or vector data structures (polygons, vertices, DXF/SVG geometry). ​Experience with background job queues, containerized workers (Docker), and real-time frontend updates (WebSockets / SSE). ​Proven track record implementing Stripe recurring subscriptions and usage-based access gating.
