I’m looking for an experienced developer to take over and complete my existing BlueLineAssist web application. I currently have **two separate Lovable.dev projects** that need to be merged into one fully functioning application: 1. **Frontend project** – contains the existing website design, pages, branding, navigation, customer-facing functionality, and user interface. 2. **Backend project** – contains the Supabase database/backend functionality, authentication, data structure, and additional application features. I do **not** want the application rebuilt from scratch or unnecessarily redesigned. I want the existing work preserved, properly integrated, cleaned up, and completed. ### Primary Objectives The first priority is to: * Review both existing Lovable projects and their code. * Understand how the frontend and backend currently work. * Compare the two projects and determine the proper merge strategy. * Merge them into a single clean application. * Connect the frontend correctly to the existing Supabase backend. * Preserve the existing BlueLineAssist design and functionality. * Fix the known **PII/data-exposure issue**. * Review and properly configure Supabase Row Level Security (RLS). * Verify authentication and user permissions. * Make sure clients, family members, administrators, and other users can only access information they are authorized to see. * Identify and correct any obvious security, database, or architectural problems discovered during the review. ### Long-Term Goal I do not want to remain dependent on Lovable.dev for every future change. After the application is properly merged and stabilized, I want the project moved into a setup where **I own and control the source code and can make changes myself**. I am considering: * GitHub * Cursor * Supabase * Vercel or another setup you recommend that provides the same level of ownership and control. I want to be able to make routine changes myself, including: * Updating website content * Updating pricing * Adding and editing clients * Managing users * Managing family/client relationships * Managing service records * Viewing activity * Managing messaging * Managing subscriptions * Making future website changes * Deploying updates * Adding new features as the business grows ### BlueLineAssist Application BlueLineAssist is a senior-support/concierge business. The website is designed to provide trusted, non-medical assistance to seniors and their families. The application is expected to support multiple user types, including: * Clients/seniors * Family members * BlueLineAssist administrators/staff * Potentially other authorized users/service providers The application includes or is being developed to include: * Public marketing website * Client portal * Family portal * Administrative portal * Secure authentication * Role-based access * Secure family/client messaging * Service/activity logging * Documentation of services requested and provided * Client records * Family visibility * Payment/subscription functionality * Stripe or equivalent payment integration * Notifications * Account management * Responsive/mobile-friendly design ### Security Security is extremely important because the application will contain personal information. I specifically want the developer to review: * Supabase RLS policies * Authentication * Database permissions * User roles * Client/family relationships * API/database access * PII exposure * Frontend access to sensitive information * Storage/document permissions * Any other obvious security vulnerabilities The known PII issue should be addressed as part of the initial merge rather than postponed until the end. ### Development Approach I prefer the project to be handled in milestones. **Phase 1 – Audit & Architecture** Review both Lovable projects, Supabase, database schema, authentication, RLS, existing functionality, and the known PII issue. Provide a clear explanation of: * What should be kept * What should be removed * What needs to be merged * What needs to be fixed * Recommended final architecture * Recommended development/hosting environment **Phase 2 – Merge & Security** * Merge the two applications. * Connect frontend/backend properly. * Fix the PII issue. * Implement/repair RLS. * Verify authentication. * Verify user roles and permissions. * Make sure existing functionality continues to work. **Phase 3 – Complete Application** Finish the remaining functionality, including the client/family/admin portals, messaging, service records, payments/subscriptions, notifications, and other existing requirements. **Phase 4 – Migration & Handoff** Move the application into the recommended long-term environment, such as GitHub + Cursor + Supabase + Vercel. I want: * Full source-code ownership * My own GitHub repository * My own Supabase project/account * My own hosting/deployment account * Documentation explaining how everything works * Instructions for making common changes myself * A clean development workflow * No unnecessary vendor lock-in ### Important I am looking for someone who has **experience taking over and completing existing Lovable.dev applications**, not just someone who builds websites from scratch. Experience with the following is strongly preferred: * Lovable.dev * React * Vite * TypeScript * Tailwind * Supabase * PostgreSQL * Supabase Auth * Supabase RLS * GitHub * Cursor * Vercel * Stripe/payment integrations I am open to recommendations if you believe there is a better architecture than Cursor/GitHub/Vercel/Supabase. Please provide: 1. Examples of similar Lovable/Supabase projects you have taken over. 2. Your experience with existing-project migrations and merges. 3. Your experience with Supabase security/RLS. 4. Your recommended approach for BlueLineAssist. 5. Your estimated cost for Phase 1. 6. Your estimated total cost after reviewing both projects. 7. Your expected timeline. 8. Your proposed milestone/payment structure. I want to start with a **small, clearly defined Phase 1** before committing to the complete project.
