Senior IT Systems & AI Automation Specialist

We are hiring a senior IT systems specialist for a confidential software project. We need someone who is excellent at solving real computer problems, understands Windows and Mac deeply, is comfortable with automation and scripting, and knows how to work with modern AI tools and LLMs. The role is to help us turn real IT knowledge into structured, reusable technical workflows. You should be strong in: Windows troubleshooting and administration PowerShell Windows command line and system tools Processes, services, permissions, drivers and devices Software installation and configuration File systems Performance diagnostics Scripting and automation APIs and JSON AI tools and LLMs Writing clear technical instructions and prompts Debugging and failure handling Safe and reversible system changes * macOS experience is a strong advantage. * Python is useful, but not required. We want someone who does not solve every problem by clicking through menus. You should naturally think about whether a task is better handled with: PowerShell command line system tools APIs scripts direct file operations browser automation GUI interaction AI/LLM processing The goal is always the safest, fastest and most reliable method. You will work with our development team to: Define troubleshooting procedures Design reusable technical workflows Choose the best execution method Define verification steps Define safe failure and recovery behavior Identify edge cases Improve workflows based on QA results This role is not a fit if your experience is mainly: Prompt engineering only ChatGPT usage Custom GPTs Basic Zapier or Make No-code automation only Basic helpdesk support Software development without real IT troubleshooting experience
