Senior WordPress Developer – Website Retainer

We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to work with us on an ongoing retainer across multiple client websites and internal projects. This is not a once-off website build. We are looking for someone reliable, experienced, and detail-focused who can become part of our ongoing development workflow and assist with both new website builds and maintenance of existing WordPress websites. Scope of Work Your responsibilities will include: Building complete WordPress websites from scratch using Elementor and Elementor Pro Converting existing Netlify, HTML, app-based, or coded designs into fully functional WordPress websites Creating pixel-perfect, responsive websites from Figma files and other design references Building and customizing Elementor pages, containers, templates, headers, footers, popups, and reusable components Implementing custom CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and PHP where required Developing or modifying custom WordPress functionality Troubleshooting and fixing WordPress, Elementor, plugin, theme, and compatibility issues Improving website performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience Maintaining and updating existing client websites Handling ongoing development requests across multiple projects Working with existing WordPress and WooCommerce installations Ensuring websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices Following existing website structures, development standards, and design specifications accurately What We Are Looking For We need someone with strong practical WordPress development experience who is comfortable working beyond basic Elementor page building. You should have: Advanced experience with WordPress Advanced experience with Elementor Pro Strong HTML and CSS knowledge Good JavaScript and PHP knowledge Experience with WooCommerce Experience converting custom-coded or externally designed websites into WordPress A strong understanding of responsive development Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience improving WordPress performance and resolving technical issues Excellent attention to detail The ability to work across multiple websites and projects simultaneously You should be comfortable receiving either a complete design to build from or an existing website/problem that needs to be investigated and resolved. Engagement This position is intended to be an ongoing retainer relationship rather than a single project. There will be a continuous flow of WordPress development, website maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, new builds, and other development-related tasks across multiple client websites. We are specifically looking for someone interested in building a long-term working relationship with our agency.
