AI Automation Specialist Needed for Small eCommerce Brand (Shopify + AI + Workflow Automation)

We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Specialist to help us improve efficiency across our Shopify based eCommerce business. Our goal is to automate repetitive tasks, streamline daily operations, and create reliable workflows that enhance the customer experience. You will build and optimize automations for areas such as customer support, email marketing, order management, product content creation, review follow ups, inventory notifications, social media workflows, reporting, and internal knowledge management. We're looking for someone with experience using platforms such as Make.com, n8n, Zapier, or similar automation tools, along with AI APIs including OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini. Experience integrating Shopify with CRM, email marketing, Airtable, Google Sheets, or Notion is highly valued. Basic JavaScript or Python knowledge is a plus. You should be comfortable designing dependable workflows, documenting your work, testing automations, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve business processes through automation. Experience supporting Shopify or direct to consumer brands is preferred, along with a strong understanding of eCommerce operations and customer journeys. We are open to both hourly and fixed price proposals and are looking to build a long term working relationship with the right freelancer.
