Clinical Data Engineer & ECG Core Lab Manager

This role bridges clinical operations and technical data engineering, with ownership of end-to-end ECG core lab activities. Key responsibilities include ingesting raw ECG waveforms, preprocessing digital signals, de-identifying PHI, reconciling EDC metadata, and coordinating reader panel workflows. You will work with enterprise EDC platforms and custom MATLAB/Python scripts to maintain data integrity, automate batch workflows, and support regulatory compliance. • Experience: 5+ years of experience in clinical data management or data engineering within a clinical trial core lab, medical device company, or CRO handling cardiac/waveform data. • Skills: ◦ Programming & Tools: Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Python, with hands-on experience with digital ECG file formats and signal processing ◦ GxP & Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GCP, and HIPAA/GDPR standards; experience maintaining audit trails and data management plans (DMPs)
