Google Workspace and Automation

Hello, I run an electrical contracting business and I'm looking for someone to teach me and build with me. 1. Let's get creative: blow my mind The list below is a starting point, not a fixed scope. I want someone who will help me map out smart ways to do things. That means building these tools with me, spotting where AI can save us time, suggesting better approaches than what I've described, and showing me what's possible that I haven't thought of yet. In your reply, tell me one idea for my business that I didn't list. 2. Education and training I want to learn how to create these tools myself, with someone coaching me through it. • Teach me Python from the ground up, help me figure out where to start, and suggest any lessons or learning I should do beforehand • With tools like Claude Code, I understand learning all the syntax may not be necessary. I have no desire to be a professional programmer. • I want to be competent enough to know what's possible with today's technology, at a higher level • That way I can map out business functions that work in the real world and solve real problems • Work side by side with me on actual projects, so I learn by building 3. Simple Google Workspace setups I've been putting off for too long • I have one main Google Workspace email with several aliases (billing@, contact@), and everything lands in my main inbox • Separate emails into labels/groups by alias and sender (suppliers, ESA permits, insurance, billing, leads) • Set up filters so recurring emails skip my main inbox and go to the right place 4. Bots and automations we'll build together • Bids: flag any email mentioning bid, RFQ, tender, quote request, etc., send an alert, and log it to a Google Sheet (customer, project, due date) • Permits: log ESA permit emails to a tracker tied to the job, with status updates through to the Certificate of Acceptance • Supplier invoices: file invoices to Google Drive automatically and flag any price that doesn't match our price sheet, plus any new items • Supplier pricing requests: build a script that pulls our material lists from a spreadsheet and emails pricing requests to suppliers automatically • Supplier quotes: scan the quotes suppliers send back (PDF or email) and enter the pricing into our spreadsheet automatically, so we can compare suppliers side by side • More to come as we go: lead alerts, daily job briefings Tools I'm open to and things to cover Gmail, Google Drive/Sheets, Slack, Zapier or Make, Python, Claude, Google AI Studio, React, PostgreSQL, Retool/AppSheet, APIs (explained and shown in practice), Chrome extensions, parsing, and scripting.
