Odoo/Python Developer – AI-Assisted Custom Odoo 18 Troubleshooting

We are looking for a part-time Odoo/Python developer to take technical ownership of a highly customized Odoo 18 environment. The role covers two areas: 1. Odoo/IT troubleshooting: custom Python addons, permissions, automated actions, notifications, QWeb/PDF reports, APIs, bots, integrations, and unexpected behavior between custom modules. 2. Technical product/catalog work: product data quality, validation gates, names, attributes, imports, duplicates, permissions, website/PDF behavior, and product-related custom modules. You must use agentic AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent directly against the repository. Occasionally asking ChatGPT questions is not the workflow we are looking for. For each issue, you will reproduce the problem in QA, trace the root cause using source code, logs, APIs, data, and evidence, implement and test the smallest safe fix in QA, and deliver a concise report: REPRO → ROOT CAUSE → EVIDENCE → FIX → TESTS → REGRESSION RISKS This is not a UI-only support role and not a standard Odoo implementation project. No direct production writes or deployments. No real emails, tax documents, payments, production permission changes, final selling prices, or margin decisions. The engagement will begin with a small paid technical trial using sanitized real issues in QA. Clear written Spanish is strongly preferred because internal tickets are primarily in Spanish.
