Python algorithmic trading engine

I have an existing Python algorithmic trading engine called QuantCore. It integrates with IG and includes market-data retrieval, streaming, strategy processing, risk management, order execution and persistence. The system is currently stopped on its VPS. I need a specialist to audit and harden the existing codebase, not build a new bot or invent a trading strategy. The initial paid engagement would focus on: - diagnosing a historical IG authentication/session issue; - verifying live-data freshness and the complete data-to-decision pipeline; - reviewing execution, position state and risk controls; - adding reproducible automated tests and structured diagnostics; - delivering a written audit with findings, evidence and a prioritized remediation plan. No live orders, production-server access or real-account credentials would be authorized for this initial phase. Before discussing the scope and price, could you please answer: 1. Have you personally maintained an existing Python trading engine in production? 2. Have you integrated IG REST API, the `trading-ig` library or Lightstreamer? 3. Can you provide a relevant example of an execution or market-data issue you diagnosed and fixed? 4. How would you test stale data, authentication failures, reconnects, rejected orders and inconsistent position state? 5. What fixed price would you propose for this initial audit, what deliverables would be included, and how long would it take?
