Python Flask Developer for Math Website

Project: Online Math Teaching Program for Grades 2–9 Preferred developer location: India Contract: Fixed-price, divided into milestones Project Overview I am developing an online Math Teaching Program for students in Grades 2 through 9, following the Lebanese educational curriculum. The program is designed to help students learn mathematics through interactive lessons, practice exercises, automatically graded exams, and educational games. The project has already been developed using Python Flask, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and converted educational materials. I am not looking for someone to build the educational program from scratch. I need an experienced full-stack web developer who can work with our existing Flask application, integrate its components, add the necessary student and subscription features, and launch it as a professional educational website. 1. Work Already Developed The educational program includes: Interactive Math Lessons • Lessons for Grades 2–9, following the Lebanese curriculum. • PowerPoint lessons converted into HTML presentations. • Lessons organized by grade and unit. Interactive Practice Exercises • Students enter answers into interactive fields. • Immediate feedback indicates whether each answer is correct or incorrect. • Exercises are designed for independent practice. Automatically Graded Exams • Interactive exams containing multiple-choice questions and typed answers. • Automatic correction after students submit their answers. • Correct, incorrect, and unanswered responses are identified. • Final grades calculated out of 20. • A PDF/Excel exam conversion system developed within the Flask application. Educational Games and Written Exercises • Links to online educational math games related to the lessons. • Written exercises and solutions for selected grades and units. Grade-Specific Tables of Contents • Educational materials organized by grade and unit. • Links connecting students to lessons, practice exercises, exams, games, and written exercises. The complex exam converter is being completed separately before the development handover. The freelancer will not be expected to develop this converter from scratch. 2. Work Required from the Freelancer A. Website Integration • Review and understand the existing Flask application. • Integrate the completed educational components into one functioning website. • Ensure that lessons, exercises, exams, games, and written exercises are accessible through the correct links. • Improve website navigation and overall user experience. • Preserve existing working features and educational content. B. Student Registration and Login • Create a secure student registration and login system. • Allow students from different schools to register independently. • Provide a student dashboard • Allow each student to access the grade or course included in their subscription. • Prevent unauthorized access to paid educational materials. C. Subscription System • Implement subscriptions for individual grades or courses. • Provide a 10-day free trial for each course. • Allow the administrator to activate or deactivate student access. • Provide subscription expiration and renewal management. • Support manual payment confirmation through Whish or OMT, a payment service used in Lebanon. D. Administration Create a simple administrator dashboard that allows the website owner to: • View registered students. • Identify students with active subscriptions. • Activate or deactivate subscriptions. • Track trial periods and subscription expiration dates. • Manage basic student information. E. Mobile Compatibility The website must function properly on: • Desktop computers. • Laptops. • Tablets. • Mobile phones. Interactive lessons, exercises, and exams must remain usable on smaller screens. F. Testing and Website Launch • Test all major website features. • Fix integration problems and broken links. • Implement appropriate authentication and security measures. • Configure the database and production environment. • Deploy the Flask application to a suitable hosting service. • Connect the website to its domain. • Provide deployment instructions and a complete copy of the source code. Experience with subscription-based websites, learning management systems, or educational platforms would be an advantage. 4.
